Better
late than never huh?
I (Chris) was in California most of October spending quality time with my Mom and my sister (and her family). I got the flu while I was down there but still had time to get together with some old friends. I met my grand nephew, Tyler, for the first time. I guess he's my grand nephew; he is my sister's grandson. My Mom had her 82nd birthday while I was there. My brother, Steve, came in from Durango, CO, for the festivities. For her birthday, Steve took her on a helicopter ride over San Francisco Bay. She had a wonderful time especially when the helicopter dropped and went below both the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay Bridge. Here is a photo of my Mom and me in front of the helicopter. I didn't go. I am a chicken although it did look like fun.

Chuck stayed home in Sitka and made huge progress on his boat "winter to do list". He really got into making pure sourdough bread, San Francisco style. He has been working hard to produce a good tasting and attractive loaf.
Well, that's it for October. Short and sweet. Have a good winter everyone.
